Bhakhari ( Gujarati flat bread)
Hello everyone,
Today we talk about Gujarati breakfast or dinner special recipe called "Bhakhari". Bhakhari made with whole wheat flour.It's midium crisp or crispy flat bread.In Gujrat people made it into "earthen tava" called "tavdi" or make flat non stick tava."Tavdi " given a special shape and crisp.Bhakhari savour with tea, curd, pickles,sabzi.
Ingredients :
Whole wheat flour. 11/2 cups
Oil. 1/4 cups
Salt. 1/2 tsp
Water. Very little
Butter or ghee. 1 tsp
Recipe Mathod :
1) Take a big plat and mix flour, oil,salt together and mix well.hit up your tava for midium flam.
2)take little Water and mix with flour and make stiff dough.
3) make two balls, and take rolling board and rolling pin and make round shape .
4)take fork make holes like pizza dough.
5)put Bhakhari into your hot tava and cook in midium flam.for 2 to 3 minutes and flipped and cook another side for 2 to 3 minutes.
6) again cook front side.
7) spread some butter or ghee on Bhakhari.
Avoid Olive oil for this recipe.
Today Bhakhari savour with fresh row Mango pickle and curd.
