Warm Gajar Halwa with Vanilla ice cream (carrot pudding with ice cream)







In every Indian home kitchen often made Gajar ka Halwa and it's a very classic dessert and other hand vanilla ice cream is most common and classic ice cream  flavour. These two most popular and classic recipes put together and made fusion recipe. Trust me it's very different and delicious dessert recipe. For this recipe I made both recipes at my home kitchen. If you wish you can use redymade vanilla ice cream. Just enjoy two scoops of ice cream and  one scoop of Gajar Halwa.


Ingredients for ice cream :

full fat milk.                    500 ml
Milk powder.                    100 g
Sugar.                                8 and 1/2 tbsp

Cornflour.                          1 and 1/2 tbsp
Gms powder                      2 tbsp
Cmc powder                       1/4 tsp
Fresh cream.                       3+3 tbsp

Vanilla flavour.                    1/2 tsp

Method for ice cream :



1) first divided  milk in to two parts.
2) in a medium sized vessel add milk and sugar and boil it in a slow flame. 
3) in another vessel  mix all dry ingredients like milk powder, csm,Cmc,cornflour mix it and pour  remain milk and mix with electric bitter and  Make sure there is no lumps.

4) once your milk is boil switch off your flame and add remain coloured milk. Mix well. Switch on the flame and stir continues. Coz cornflour stick to bottom very fast.


5)see the consistency of the milk not too thick not too runny.

6) cool down for 15 minutes and add fresh cream or home made cream. Mix it well.
Frequently stirred when it's cool down. 


7)when milk cool down completely pour in the air tight contener and freez it for 6 to 7 hours. Or until it turns in to solid. Not put very high cool mode choose medium cooling mode. See the level of ice cream mixture.



8) take out our contener. As you can see cut  solid ice cream in like this.    



9)please use hend blander for good volume. Add vanilla extract and bland it or you can say whipped it like Cream.

10) After whipping 5 to 6 minutes add remain cream and whipped again for 6 to 7 minutes. As you can see it's more than double in volume. If you wish garnish it and freez it for 5 to 6 for set it. It's very  difficult time one who ice cream lover.....

   





Halwa make in microwave and for this recipe made with milk powder or use condensed milk.
Gajar no Halwa :
Grated carrots     750 g
Milk powder.        100 g
Sugar.                    250 g
Ghee.                     1/4 cup (optional)
Cardamom powder. 1 tsp
Chop nuts &            2 tbsp
Raisins.
                 
Recipe Method :

1) take microwave safe bowl and mix carrots, Milk powder, sugar and ghee together .

2)put bowl in the microwave  high mode for 10 minutes.

3) after 10 minutes  take out bowl and mix the halwa mixture and put again In microwave high mode for 5 to 7 minutes.
4) again mix it and put in microwave for 5 to 7 minutes.
5)if you see and juice in halwa mixture put again for some time in microwave.





After both recipes are ready it's time to most delicious part is garnish or serve in fancy plat or big bowl it's up to you. Enjoy  this fusion dessert.
